How To Make Your Own Festive Chocolate Orange Body Scrub

Want to give a homemade gift this year? Try making your own festive body scrub.

This scrub is really easy to make at home, and costs very little to put together.

The brown sugar exfoliates, the cocoa is full of antioxidants and the oil nourishes your skin and leaves it feeling moisturised and pampered. It also smells seriously good.

You will need:

50g soft light brown sugar

30g pure cocoa powder (make sure it’s 100% pure cocoa)

2 heaped tsp dried cinnamon

10 drops mandarin or sweet orange essential oil (available from most health stores)

100-150ml melted virgin coconut or any other carrier oil - we used rapeseed.

Mix the dry ingredients in together, making sure you smooth out any lumps using a sieve or the back of a spoon.

Slowly pour your carrier oil into the dry ingredients.
