You may want to leave a light on tonight.
Artist and animator Fran Krause created "Deep Dark Fears," a Tumblr blog on which he asks people what their deepest, darkest fears are, and then illustrates the responses.
"I originally started "Deep Dark Fears" as a project after I made a list in my sketchbook of some of my irrational fears. After writing down about twenty of them I thought, 'Whoa! I have a bunch of these!' and I thought they'd make a good series of comics," Fran explained in an email to BuzzFeed.
He went on to say, "After making about thirty comics, people started to send in their own submissions. It's strange, I never asked for submissions, but maybe people thought all my personal fears were from different people."

So he decided to create a space where people could send in their own fears, or suggestions of stories that scare the shit out of them.
Fran explained to BuzzFeed that people have been very receptive of his work.
"People have been very kind and I've been able to draw some really interesting fears and stories from around the world. The response had been very positive, I think people have been glad to see that they are not alone in their irrational fears."
