Scientists Built A Computer Program To Ruthlessly Torture Robots

Just remember, we brought this on ourselves.

In 2013, three designers created a very realistic 3D walking simulator.

The program, titled "Flexible Muscle-Based Locomotion for Bipedal Creatures" was presented at the SIGGRAPH Asia computer graphics conference this year by Thomas Geijtenbeek, Michiel van de Panne, and Frank van der Stappen.

Using 3D muscle actuation, they are able to simulate realistic walking movements for all kinds of creatures.
