A Bronx Man Decapitated Himself In Broad Daylight With A Chain And His SUV

The man committed suicide by severing his own head at about 9:35 a.m. Monday

The man reportedly tied a chain to a pole, and also to his head. He then climbed inside the SUV and hit the gas.


Police said the resulting force ripped the man's head off and he died at the scene. He was 51 years old, but officers did not release his name.


The incident happened about 9:35 a.m. in Hunts Point, near the intersection of Randall Ave. and Longfellow Ave.
