Hunt, 28, faced a Queensland court on Thursday and when asked how he would plead to four drugs possession charges, he told the magistrate, "guilty, your honour".
According to ABC News, Hunt's barrister Alistair McDougall told the court, his client had purchased 12-and-a-half grams of cocaine during September and October last year in what he described as a "misguided" post-season binge.
Hunt is one of eight Queensland-based football players who were served with court notices over a drugs scandal that has rocked football in the state.
The scandal allegedly focuses around the Gold Coast Titans rugby league club which has been placed into the hands of the sports administration.
