Top Gear has been no stranger to controversy in recent years. In 2014 the crew were attacked in Argentina.

An angry mob attacked the crew’s cars while they were leaving Ushuaia, during filming of the Christmas special. The producers claim the attack happened after an Argentine website misinterpreted a licence plate on Clarkson's car, N982 FKL, as being a reference to the Falklands War.
